Behind the Atelier: How We Design a Bridal Hand

A bridal commission at our atelier is rarely a single appointment. It is a six-week relationship that begins with a sketchbook and ends with a sealed aftercare kit on the morning of your ceremony.
Week One: The Consultation
We sit together for ninety minutes. You bring your outfits, your jewelry, photographs of your venue, and any inspiration that has moved you. We sketch live, in pencil, on tracing paper laid over your hand.
Weeks Two to Five: The Design
Our lead artist refines two design directions and shares them as full digital renderings. You choose, edit, and approve. We then produce a paper rehearsal — a one-to-one practice of the entire design on paper — to time the application and finalise the cone consistency.
The Ceremony Day
We arrive three hours before your scheduled mehndi function with our travel atelier — a folding teak table, soft lighting, your custom paste, and a tea service. The application takes between four and seven hours, depending on coverage. We leave you with a sealed aftercare kit and a printed protocol card.
